Louise Barrett

Louise graduated from the British School of Osteopathic medicine in 2006.

Louise has worked in various clinics in Bucks, Herts. and Beds. These clinics incorporated both private and NHS referral work which has given Louise a variety of experiences.

After a riding accident as a young girl left her with long standing low back pain, Louise became interested in Osteopathy. She found that Osteopathy and the advice she received gave her great relief and ignited her interest in this profession.

Louise likes to treat her patients using both a structural and functional approach which may include massage, stretching tissues, joint articulation and Cranial-sacral osteopathy. She feels that this varied approach in techniques enables her to treat a variety of conditions on all members of the family. Louise has experience in treating patients from the ages of 6 weeks to 80 years. Louise also likes to incorporate advice for patients to pursue at home as she feels this is vital for long term pain relief and management.

Outside of work Louise is a keen sports woman. She is a member of Amersham and Chalfont hockey club, and runs reguarly. During the 2008-09 season Louise has been involved with Wasps Ladies Rugby team working alongside them on match days.
